I happened to be watching the video/mpeg Eldric compiled and it brought with it plenty cherished memories and I just wanted to say hi.

Perhaps u may not be aware but CTSS is as much of an enriching experience for us mentors as it is for students. I learned a lot as well and wonderful friendships have grown from it.

Hi All

I know there hasn' t been a post here for months, but if anyone's still out here ... HELLO! It seems like exams and college applications have taken over - I hope everyone's done well, and you're all off to do great things (let me know what you're up to!).

A couple of updates from me:

Creative Thinking Mid-Year School
The Creative Thinking Mid-Year School (the first one) starts on Sunday, 9 July, and if you're around in Melbourne, feel free to pop by and say hello - you can drop me an email, and I'll let you know what we're up to.

If you are in Melbourne, you're all invited to the Improv Presentation on Friday, 21 July, at 4.00pm in Evan Burge 2. The students are performing impromptu (no script!), so it will be funny and a lot of fun.

Random thoughts

Ok this is random but i thot it was pretty quiet here so i decided to spice it up a lil. And for the benefit of those i haven't spoken to in a while, I'm finally in Melbourne.

This place is absolutely gorgeous. I love my friends, I love my school and i love how our classes are so spontaneous and so much fun. Tintern is so great! Though im helluva distance from the city. The school's like humongous. Seriously. It takes me past 2 courtyards to get to the library. And down my end there's the sports centre and boarding hse.

School's out in 3 wks for commonwealth games. How time flies! I'm headin back to SG and i simply can't wait. Though i don't miss the weather, I miss all else. Even newton circus. And the more i look back, the more i miss CTSS'04. The giant swing and flying fox at candlebark farm reminded me so much of ace hi ranch. I can't imagine not having gone for CTSS'04 cos then i probably wouldn't be here now and i simply cant imagine missing out on all these.

And to those in Melb, coffee soon! and Papa Chris if u're readin this pls let me now when u're back in Melb k. Loving and missing everyone. Toodles!

What these means to us

Well, everyone should know better than I do that we have this special bond between us kinda thing. It proved me right when we again met Sher during her stop over. Its been a wonderful 2005. You guys have been part of my 2005 and I hope that you will be part of my 2006 again.

As we step into 2006, I hope these special ties are brought forward to this very year. I hope more beautiful memories will be created so that we can look back at them again in 2007, wondering again- Where did all these nice ppl come from? haha. Well, no matter where it may be, I want all you guys to know that each and everyone of you are special to me in different ways. Each and every meeting for me with you guys had been really memorable. Thanks.

Summer School '05 is over. Glad to say they did have a blast too. Hearing from Diane, a member of the ctss'05 family i met at OAL, i daresay it was tons of fun for them. Listenin to her stories abt ctss'05, i couldn't help but tear as i thought back to our 2 weeks in summer school. JK, Jessie and Lerato were back as mentors again this year and i can't help but wonder about their experience. From what i see, ctss'05 was crazy too.

Even as i prepare for a new life in boardin in aus nx yr, Melb already holds so much for me. When i visited last month, my parents saw it as a usual vacation spot. But through my eyes, Melb is a place of memories, of wonder. I'm content just being there and lookin back on my ctss'04 experience. The great ocean road will never again be just beautiful scenery, it is a place of recollection. For all of us have left our footprints behind. As they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. How true is that.

Oh and Vince when u compared us, what was the conclusion?

The year's gone, and another group of Summer Schoolers has come and gone (and had a great time, hopefully). I hope this year has been good to you all, and that you've achieved the things you've aimed for (or are at least getting part way there!).

hey people! thanks for everything over this one year period. I'm speechless actually.
Everyone's heading in different directions of their lives, but i hope to sit down for a cup of tea with everyone when i return. It will be great! Its been wonderful hearing from almost everyone. It may never be the same again. Probably lesser gathering like we had and probably lesser stop-overs in Singapore. But yes! You will be remembered no matter where you may be.

As for me, I'm in California now and i'm suffering from serious jet-lag. I need sleep! haha. The people here are amazing! Well, if you're every in San francisco, do drop me a mail. It will be great to catch up. Its really cool over here. Well all the best everyone. It will definitely be a great year ahead! Those heading overseas...Best of luck. Do not worry, i know that there may be insercurities and you might get a little nervous. Jus take real good care of yourselves out there.

The end of another year is drawing close. For many of us, the new year ahead will be tough and challenging, facing new chapters of our lives. For some of us junior college, for others, university. But even as we move on in life, we share the memory of CTSS'04. An unforgettable experience etched in our minds.

As for me, the year ahead will be filled with surprises. I'll be going to australia to study. I have no clue as ot what the future holds, but I do know that many obstacles await me. I'm going to the state school in melbourne to do the IB programme with the promise that I'll come out top 5 in class and top 10 in level. It's not going to be an easy road for me to trod but I'll make it thru somehow. I head to melbourne with the joy of knowing that many great things await me and many friends will be there. But I leave with a heavy heart knowing that I will leave behind so many things that I love. Yet, the future holds much and I will move on.

Sharon will be leaving us for America. And I know everyone shares my view that she will be dearly missed. It is with sadness that i bid her farewell. I thank her for the friendships bestowed, for being there always to advice, and for being a memorable part of CTSS'04.
Sharon, the journey ahead is tough and fraught with challenges to be faced. But i know that with determination, you will make it thru. I wish you well in your future endeavours. I leave you with this..HE is a GOD OF MIRACLES..trust and you will receive..

i've just read sher's update. and come to think of it, i got my gmail account from timothy! but just that it wasnt in the clarke's computer room. it was online after summer school was way over.

i've just had my drama exam on wednesday at the evan burge buzzard lecture theatre. the first thing i though of was my summer school darlings. my first ever experience with drama was with summer schoolers. and i saw the drama room, i saw the lecture theatre, i saw the bulpadock.. i thought of drama during summer school, when all of us had so much fun with drama.

well now that drama is over, back to more studying!

I got the parcel from Eldric in the post.. a rather pleasant surprise.. The CTSS04 video... Bow Down... I tune you, I felt a great satisfaction watchin the video coz it pleases me to see the difference that CTSS04 brought about in ur lives and I'm so proud to have been a part.. Not to mention the G-Unitz from the Lil C-Unit!! Thanks you guys, you're number 1 stunners... So, I was watchin the video, reminiscing on the experience, holding back the tears that wanted to burst forth when none other than 'Vine of my Delight' started... I cracked up laffing coz that was the last thing I expected to hear on the vid, then I see my picture, and I laffed even more. Hey, hoo you know that got a betta model pose than me for pictures in RED PAJAMAZ??.. It was flattering.. Thanks you guys, your experience was as moving for the mentors as it was for you. As I lay down my title as HMIC this year, I wanna thank you for making my last year in the role a memorable one!!

hey ppl! yup!
You bet we are hiding in our books! We probably hope to eat the infomation out of the books. haha. Just to update you people, we Singaporeans are having our 'o' level pratical examination this 2 weeks. So...i think everyones hitting their books like crazy and getting theories memorised or something. Well probably not to the extend of literally banging and hitting the books but yeah. you get wad i mean. Well, i heard that the pure bio paper was a quite a killer today. Apparently guys here don't really know how to cut carrots. They cut their fingers instead. (Some needed to get their fingers stitched.) BUT, i have to admit that carrots are a little hard to cut when its raw.

Putting this crazy examination aside, i got good news to share with every single one reading this. I was just officially accepted into College! That means its BYE to the Singapore Education System for good! Its nothing very exciting yet but its a start to a new chapter for me. But rest assure that i will still strive hard for the upcoming examination. =)

So study hard.

Hey all! I'm just putting this out there for ex-Creative Summer Schoolers in Melbourne. I’ve actually been meaning to do this for a while, so why not now? I've met up ' oldies' in India, Singapore and Malaysia, but not really here.

So what about a little mini-reunion? Semi-informal, if you know what I mean.

Next Tuesday, 11 October, at 5.30pm, in the Burge Drama Room (oh, the memories!). I’ll invite the CTSS mentors, of course (even JK – so don’t let that put you off).

Those Two Weeks In December

Hey everyone. =)

Mitch here. Well, now that I'm here, I don't know where to begin. Maybe I should start by saying I MISS YOU ALL!!! I've managed to keep in contact with a fair number of you, and I've even met up with some of you during the year, but still, I long to reverse the march of time so I can revisit those two weeks in December that none of us can or will ever forget. My mind often drifts onto memories of that time, and when I remember that the happiness CTSS04 brought me has lasted much longer than those two weeks, it's enough to comfort me even when everything else seems to go wrong. It's the thought of having such wonderful people in my life that keeps me going through it all. This year has been really really busy for me, so much stuff crammed into a seemingly short space of time. My singing career continues to grow, and as I probably excitedly told many of you earlier in the year, I had the lead role in the school musical and that was utterly amazing. I also did very well in my singing exam and whenever I get the chance, I sing, because I love it and it makes me happy. And when I think of all the support and appreciation you all gave to me at Trinity, that happiness blooms inside me.

Recently I visited Trinity during the Melbourne Uni Open Day. And as soon as I stepped through the gate near the athletics track... it felt like home. As I walked past the buildings, memories came flooding back to me and amazed me with their clarity. And when I stepped into the dining hall, it felt like no time had passed at all since last December. It was an amazing feeling. The JCR, the bulpadock, the dorms... I saw it all... and it really felt like home. But it felt like an empty home. Because the people who had made it their home for two weeks were no longer there. And that drove home to me just how much you all mean to me. You are my family, now and forever. What life forges through familiarity and upbringing over many years, we forged in two weeks. And I know that we will always continue to cherish and nurture our family. That's what families do.

That's enough from me for now. Hopefully I'll be able to find time to add to this blog from time to time. Remember to keep in touch and if you ever want to chat about anything, I'm here to talk. Don't forget, I'm your brother now. =)

HEY PPL!!! It's been soooooooooo long since we've last met...at least in my case..that's wat happens when u live in some little mouse hole somewhere in the country. How's everyone doing? I'm just dying to meet u guys, but there's just no chance at all. Even though it's been nearly 9 months and a half since we last met...my goodness, the sweetest memories are still in the forefront of my mind and believe me, I have not yet encountered another moment more enjoyable than ctss 2004. So..I see that ppl have been catching up all over the place...How's all the singaporeans eh? It's kinda hard to keep in touch with all of you and do forgive me if I haven't, I do have my reasons but at least I intend to keep blogging...at least after SPM..lolz..so, everyone doing well for prelims?? hey, If I go to Singapore sometime, anyone willing to let me bunk over in their house? It would be cool...maybe I'll try 2 drag the Penangites along..and one more question, if anyone knows how to get a scholarship in trinity and the criterias required to apply for it, do mail me k, I'm so eager to return back to Melbourne..and if anyone wants to drop me a note or needs my help, feel free to e-mail me at funky_cyberchick@hotmail.com. Reminiscising

Finally got around to joining the blog and here's my first post..

My first taste of freedom! Prelims jus ended yesterday. I've been living in books since i don't know when. Think i really messed up this time tho. Got mental blocks for nearly all my papers and didn't complete quite a few but oh wells.

Anyway hello to everyone reading this entry :D. It's been so long since we've lived thru those two weeks of summer school together. Utmost joy found in the simplest yet most complex terms. Bonds of friendship strong as steel. We came as strangers and left as friends with memories to cherish a lifetime. We laughed, we cried, we felt our hearts joined as one. I miss the late night chats, the crazy times we shared. Those two weeks felt more like two days, passing in a flash. More than half a year has passed since then. We've grown, we've matured, each become unique individuals. Some of us still remain in close contact, others may have drifted apart, but no matter what, the memories will always bind us together.

Vince's visit here rekindled the ctss spirit. Seeing that sea of familiar faces again. Enjoying a meal together at Fish n Co. That one night out truly let me have fun. A word not used in a long time. A feeling beyond jubilation. An indescribable feeling. How we often take for granted the simple joys of life. Never stopping to truly savour and cherish. I've never tasted friendship so sweet.

Thank you again to everyone that I managed to meet up with in India, Singapore and Malaysia. I had an excellent time, and even if everyone else seemed bored by my presence. Again with facetious comments, see?

I'm still fascinated by the fact (yes, fact) that you can all seem to remember the tiniest details of things you've done and write them down for blogging.

'Vincent calls it the Malaysian spaghetti ...', 'Went to IT World ...', 'Then we stopped by one of the photo studios on the same floor ...'. How do you do it?

I'm going to try to organise a get-together for the Summer School types that are here in Melbourne - sometime soon (first week of October?), something a bit casual. If anyone's reading that thinks it might be fun, drop me a line. I'm at summerschool@trinity nowadays. Easy.

Well to update you ppl about tonight's dinner... i can say that it was awesome. simply awesome. Everyone somehow felt great, happy, however you describe happiness, it was a mixture of everything. Smiles like sherreen has mention, they were from the bottom of everyone's hearts. It may have been a short gathering but it was one that most ppl turned up despite having school tml and despite the upcoming prelims, which on the other hand - bad! but whatever. haha.

It was like a huge family gathering of 14. Most of us were present and we had dinner at wheelock place - Fish & Co. Vincent foot the bill and everyone felt really bad about it cos it was coming out from his own pocket and it cost quite a bit. yea...Can you imagine footing the bill for a group of 14. Its jus wrong! haha.

Someone should try convincing Vincent to propose to Michelle. Its been 8 years into the relationship! hahha. really strong bond they have i believe. He claims that Michelle is not ready for marriage. SIngapore women...By the time they actually have the thought of getting married, they will be like....how old? hahha. opps. its not suppose to be an insult. =) jus that i'm dying to see Vincent get married. i dun know why. hahhahaha.

In the end, we decided to make it up to Vincent! We had a crazy idea of making Vincent dance para-para, which is jus totally out of the world. To think that we came up with that. hahah. We just went mad. hahha. Vincent was quite reluctant to dance - this plan didnt work out cos we weren't exactly "making up to him"

So we took him shopping - he's favourite activity (Vincent being Vincent! hahah. you know...) He llllloooovvveesss shopping and we bought him 2 shirts - once causal smart shirt and the other a really"not-so-vincent" green T-shirt. But honestly speaking, he looked really good in both. =) The "not-so-vincent" green T-shirt was surprise. He didnt expect us to pay for both but we did. hahha. Admit it! We are nice ppl! haha.

After that, we took 2 photos outside Topman and the bowen group had to leave (too many to name- 8 of them) had to leave because they had school the next day, remember? It was sad, but Eldric, Vincent, Vish, Pam, Rach and I continued our walk to borders to get some cards for Vish's teachers. - Tml is teacher's day in Singapore. Vincent opened the door entering wheelock and a man was about to walk out and i heard Vincent saying, "Thank you for shopping at wheelock" i think the man thought Vincent was nuts or something. hahha. Everyone thought so too. He then suggest us standing at the entrance of borders to say "Thank you making borders your choice" Really funny moment.

Anyway, Vincent was really evil. He picked out cards which wrote "with deepest sympathy...." and even suggest giving a clock to the teacher. So yea he was evil. Its considered bad luck to give clocks as gifts in the chinese culture so Vincent bing almost hongkongnese, he knew and Vishnu was like "why not?"

He then met some friends by chance who were he's pals from university. It was really nice. Well, Vish mentioned that some lady at the table was checking Vincent out. hahha. Vishnu being Vishnu! She made the reunion really fun! weird ideas in her weird brain jus made things......eh...weird. haha. Explain her weirdness someone! if anyone is able to.

We sat down again at a cafe cos Vincent wanted a Double shot Expresso. It was 10pm, almost bed time. Madness! Well after that everyone left, Pam and Vish i believe were fetch by their parents cos they were living quite far away. i think. Sharon being sharon and Eldric being Eldric decided not to turn up for lessons tml BUT i have my reasons. I dun know about Eldric though. haha. It was sweet of Vincent and Eldric to flag a cab for me. Thanks. a lil hard to get a cab at 10.45pm =) SO IT ENDED THERE..outside Hilton.

Thanks ppl! for taking time off to come down and making this reunion possible. I am aware that everyone is studying really hard, except Eldric, for the prelims cos prelims are 2 weeks away, not very far from todya. So a big thank you to everyone who came down. It was an great reunion! Take care. Be strong and Study hard!!! Eh..beside Vish!- stop studying so hard! White hair are emerging from your head! take time off! like today! *clap clap*

Jeffery is also in town, but he couldn't make it for the reunion becos he wanted to spent more time with he's girlfriend. Its okay, Jeff! you are forgiven. hahha. girlfriend comes first! agreed!
Jeff will be in town for another 2 weeks so...ring him sometime when you're free. =)

Vincent is in town! haha. So..we met up at OAL and i felt so like a family with CTSS schoolers and for me, it foreshadow the future of us - trinity summer schoolers. I think this is the first time in my entire life that i felt, Hey 10 years from now, even after coming back from the US, i would still bond with ppl i have met there. I jus felt at home. There were no barriers and i could see that all of us were jus happy. simply happy. jus so so happy to see Vincent right there, in that room. i'm sure everyone felt the exact same thing. Though we haven't met for such a long time, it felt so comfortable being with them compared to ppl you see everyday in school excpet for that one person - my best partner! Its amazing.

Well, i may not go to Trinity for foundation studies but i think i'll always be considered part of the family and i would never feel left out. I really was having second thoughts about going to Cupertino when i saw Vincent but something deep inside told me i should just forget about trinity. haha. contradicting but somehow it happened. I'm confused! So who is weeee bit tempted to go for Science Summer School like me?! haha. we could have another group of SSS students. Well, how do you like that idea of that! hhaha.

Vincent, being that metrosexual that he has always been, wore the usual..CTSS! i'm sure you know wad i'm talking about but he got a new tie and had gel-ed his hair with this bottle of gel which cost $54. hhaa. and of cos! he's famous sunglasses which is the EXACT same one he was wearing at the camp. So it felt like days in the college whereby I took his sunglasses once he stepped into OAL and he was sooo worried that i would break it or something. Memories jus started flashing back when he was the teacher for creative writing lessons and he asked us to write a poem about the light that shone into the room and the wind that was blowing. haha. It was jus the typical weird vincent.

Well, Vincent felt like a hollywood star today whereby he signed on big Trinity posters for us that OAL gave us! We were like this big fan club and were lining up to get the celebrity's signature. It was jus the crazy thought that all of us had at the same time - telepathy. haha. Vincent definately felt like a celebrity.

Its jus amazing! So amazing that i'm speechless. The reunion was jus great and the friendships found in CTSS'04 would last for a pretty long time. i can picture Vincent and Michelle getting married and all of us would be present! haha. Amazing thought that i have here!

Anyway we are having dinner with Vincent on Tuesday night. We will be meeting him at the Hilton Hotel at 6.30pm. So those in Singapore who wants to come, feel free to do so, even those in Malaysia. I am sure he would be so please to see you.

Hey treeesh!! yup i heard about the busy school life over there?! Ever heard of Whitney and Rodelle? My school mates studying over there. They were talking about school life over there. Seems fun but with tons loads of projects and work to finish. haha. I dun know man. Time flies crazily fast! its been a few months and CTSS'05 gonna start soon.. honestly like shereen, i'm wee bit tempted to join the SSS'05. haha.

I'm sorry i was busily muggin when u were back in Singapore. Well to update you. Vishnu got accepted through DSA (Direct School Admission) to ACJC. She would probably go to AC i think. Trinity is still under consideration for me, no matter how much i wanna go back. Going to take the TOELF test next month and try get acceptance into a US college down in San Fransico. I dun know why i'm doing this. The heart says one thing and the head tells you to do the other. I'm confused. Oh well.. Hope to see you soon. You work hard too! Take care. hey all, wondering how has everyone been coping. hopefully not too bad. i certainly hope that all's well back in Malaysia and Singapore and all. i know that those little girls of mine are having their O's in a few months time. JIA YOU GIRLS! i know that YOU CAN DO IT. haha. and those in Malaysia, hope all's well too.

despite being in melbourne for about close to 7 months, my first memories of melbourne lie in ctss. yes. okay, trinity foundation here isnt as easy as you think. (note to sharon and vish, who're both interested in coming here for foundation) yeah. lectures and tutes are held all over different campuses and sometimes in the uni campus itself. yup. and i dont go to evan burge that often cos i've only 2 classes there. and whenever i go to evan burge, i see the bulpaddock. and it simply brings back the wonderful times we've all shared there. even though now that summer school has ended months ago, memories still live in me. everytime i go for drama or other lessons at the FSC or in Evan Burge, my mind will ask myself "where are the ctss people?" then i realise i'm in foundation and the ctss people are gone. oh speaking of which, gavin is here in melbourne, for the july 2005 - 2006 main intake. i myself, peach (jun yew), zheng xi and gracie are in the feb 2005 main intake. and oh yes! all of us stay at the same accomodation place except gracie. gracie stays somewhere else. seriously, seeing the ctss mentors just makes me smile. it's like, they're part of my ctss memories, but they're there in front of me and it's like i'm somewhat re-living part of my ctss memories. which is so so awesome.

okay, that's it for the quick update ALL THE WAY FROM MELBOURNE! i've to scoot off. got 3 essays to hand in soon!

haha. hey peeps. wonder if u guys actually read all this stuff but anyway i guess most of you must have received Mr Tom's Letter. right? Those pictures are pretty! I'm sure we all miss the times we have spent there. Its probably one of the best experience in my life. i believe most of you would agree. =) i have much comfort in his letter.

CTSS'05 is gonna begin soon so anyone game for more of Trinity? haha. Well, lets help promote alright? i mean it has benefitted almost everyone so lets spread the "Trinity spirit"! hahah. Expand our "Trinity Schoolers" family. All the best for the upcoming days. take care.

Since Eldric has kindly asked me to update this blog thingy.. and since he was nice enough to do so, I Shall do it. haha. I kinda change the template to this green thing because i'm having this craze about the colour - GREEN greeen grrreeeeen. So, if you ppl dun mind, we'll stick to this colour for the time being. haha. and if you ever feel like changing the Colour. Please feel free to do so. I'll gladly change the colour for you.

Basically, i wanted to share some thoughts, since everyone's living their own life's now and everyone's busy, be it there in Malaysia or S'pore. Its the same. Everyone have moved on and CTSS'04 will only be part of our memories. So, its good to sit down and reflect on the past. The things we have done, what we did and of course, the people who were around to give you the support and encouragement.

Besides reflecting on the past, we have to look forward and think about our future. Have goals, aims and aspirations. Since most of us are actually sitting for our paper in about 16 weeks time subtracting away public holidays, school holidays and prelims, you would actually realise that there isn't much time left to study. In fact, there's isn't much time to think as well.

Well, my point was..to sit down to think about the things you would wanna do in future! I certainly do believe that all of us would succeed in some way or another. However, if one does not know which direction he's gonna take, he would always be at the starting point, never at he's destination.

I miss my grand-dad who had jus left the world to a faraway land and i realised life was short. It is the little things we do that differ us from being someone successful or jus another average guy or girl on the planet. You guys eh...get it? haha.

i leave you peeps with a qoute that i somehow managed to...yea you know make up...and i hope it does make sense because frankly i have no idea wad i'm trying to say or wad i'm saying.

alright. i've another thing to ponder on. and i thought i'll share it with you guys (and girls). i suppose most of you would know that i'll be going to trinity for studies, SOON. yup. 7 days left to spend in singapore. and i've been thinking how would i feel back there. i mean now that i've been there, at least i'm familiar with the area. at least for the first two weeks. first two weeks=orientation for me=me seeing the ctss mentors. all except chris and belinda. bells is taking a year off and chris doesnt work for student services. yup. leaving ju kuong, jeffrey, jessie, maleik and lerato. i guess that's the only comfort that i'll have. for just those two weeks. and i know. after two weeks, everyone just goes back to their own lives. the mentors get back to lectures and tutorials at the uni. while for the rest of about 500 of trinity students, will start lessons. i dont know if i should see those two weeks as 'just another summer school' or a brand new experience. cos if i were to see it as 'just another summer school', it'll definitely be different. why different?? because you guys wont be there with me to share all those moments that i'll be having there. i know that there'll be tons of singaporeans there too. but somehow, my intuition tells me that it'll still be different, no matter what. it's simply not 'just not another summer school' for me. those people there will probably be stuck with me for the rest of the academic year. and probably even uni next year. and somehow, it seems like i'm starting summer school ALL OVER AGAIN. just without the rest of you. and i just fear everything will be different. somehow, i'm feeling the same as when i first set out for summer school. fear that things wont turn out fine and i wont find friends that i will want to keep for the rest of my life. honestly, i'm somewhat confused now.

but i know definitely this is no summer school. i'll be there for the rest of the year. not just two weeks.

something to ponder on?? well. guess that's it for now. how's everyone coping with school? the sec fours must have already kick-started the year with an oh-so-hectic schedule. you guys must be thinking "it's only january. and i'm already mugging" well. all i have to offer is that it's all gonna fly. time is sure gonna fly. before you know it, you'll have done your mids, mocks, prelims and finally big O's. and at the end of the day, you'll be asking yourself "how on earth did i do that? waking up at 6am every morning, sleeping at midnight.." all the midnight oil burnt at the end of the day will be worth it.

The ambience was perfect. As everyone gathered at the long white couch nearing dinnertime, after the hug fests had subsided, it felt like the JCR all over again. 15 of us reunited..13 Singaporeans, 1 from Brunei and me, from Malaysia. As we talked, 2Strong spun on the CD player at the perfect volume, setting the perfect Trinity Summer School feel to the Christmas Eve gathering. It was good to see Joy, Vishnu and Rrrrrrrrimjhim and the rest of the gang just as we were. A week after we said goodbyes, we were at Eldric's place, 7000 miles away from Trinity..One week has passed and nothing has changed. We're still so tightly bonded, it's just being seperated in physical form, never at heart. The Singaporean reunion was a reminder that things will remain beautiful for a long time to come..for us friends, acquaintances..all around this globe. Dinner was turkey, mashed potato, ham, pasta and chicken wings..and it was yummy, just for the record! Look Eldric up if ever you're in Singapore because his mum can really cook- anyone can testify to that!

On another note, I'm happy to understand that everyone's safe after the nightmare quake that shook the whole of Asia. Chris Robson was in Thailand, but he's safe..and so are the Penang girls, Chennai beauties and everyone else. I thank God for that.
